CAE PLATFORM 6CONECTA

Help with 6conecta: keeping your workforce list valid

6conecta is one of the platforms Spanish companies use to control who is allowed on their sites. The part that causes most trouble is not the first upload: it is everything that happens afterwards, every time a worker joins, leaves or has a document that expires.

Why your client uses it

Under article 24 of the Spanish occupational risk prevention act and Royal Decree 171/2004, the company that owns a work centre has to check that everyone working there meets their prevention obligations. 6conecta is simply where that check is recorded.

That is why the person who decides is not the platform but your client, or the prevention technician working for them. The platform only shows what they have accepted and what they have not.

The workforce list is the moving part

Company documents change once or twice a year. The list of people changes constantly, and that is where access gets lost. Each worker has their own small file that has to be complete before they can enter.

  • Employment registration and contract for the specific person entering.
  • Prevention training matching the job they will actually do, not generic training.
  • Risk information for the work centre.
  • Medical fitness certificate, current and issued for that job.
  • Proof that personal protective equipment has been handed over.
  • Assignment to the specific site, which is a separate step from being registered in the company.

Leavers matter as much as joiners

It is easy to remember to add someone and easy to forget to remove them. A list full of people who no longer work for you is not just untidy: when the client audits it, it raises doubts about everything else in the file.

Removing a worker who has left, and doing it at the time rather than months later, keeps the file credible and makes the next addition go through faster.

What goes wrong on the day of entry

Access is normally refused for reasons that were visible days earlier:

  • The worker is registered with the company but not assigned to that particular site.
  • The medical certificate expired and nobody was tracking the date.
  • Training was uploaded for a different job than the one they are doing.
  • A new worker was added the same morning, leaving the reviewer no time to check anything.
  • The document is in the file but under the wrong requirement, so the reviewer never finds it.

How EntraObra can help

We keep the workforce list current: we prepare the file for each new worker, assign them to the right site, remove leavers and track every expiry date before it arrives. When something is rejected, we read the reviewer's comment and prepare the correction.

EntraObra is not 6conecta and does not act on its behalf, and we are not an external prevention service. Documents that must be issued by an accredited body we coordinate with your provider. Final approval always rests with your client.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common questions

Can you manage 6conecta for us?+

Yes, with your authorisation and the access you provide. If you prefer to upload yourself, we prepare the documents sorted by requirement.

How much notice do you need before a new worker starts?+

The more the better. If training, a medical check or PPE records are missing, the timing is set by whoever issues them, not by the platform.

A worker was rejected and we do not know why+

Send us the reviewer's comment. The reason is usually specific: a date, a signature, the wrong job in the training certificate, or no assignment to that site.

We also work with other platforms. Is that a problem?+

No. The underlying documents are largely the same; what changes is how each platform asks for them and what each client adds on top.
